Villain

Two questions. What does it say about a person when their favorite subject matter is themselves? Why is it I never smile in any of my self portraits or pictures? The picture I used as a reference caught my eye because I looked so malicious and I thought "Villain!" Truth be told I am always smiling and love to laugh so I don't know why I look like that.
